i got you, baby.

A place to crash

I got you
No need to ask
I got you
Just get on the phone
I got you
Come and pick you up if I have to
What's weird about it
Is we're right at the end
And mad about it
Just figured it out in my head
I'm proud to say
I got you

Go ahead and say goodbye
I'll be alright
Go ahead and make me cry
I'll be alright
And when you need a place to run to
For better for worse
I got you
I got you

Ain't falling a part, or bitter
Let's be bigger than that and remember
The cooling outdoor when you're all alone
We'll go on surviving
No drama, no need for a show
Just wanna say
I got you

Go ahead and say goodbye
I'll be alright
Go ahead and make me cry
I'll be alright
And when you need a place to run to
For better for worse
I got you
Go ahead and say goodbye (go ahead)
I'll be alright (say goodbye)
Go ahead and make me cry
I'll be alright
And when you need a place to run to
For better for worse
I got you

'Cause this is love and life
And nothing we can both control
And if it don't feel right
You're not losing me by letting me know

Go ahead and say goodbye (say goodbye)
I'll be alright
Go ahead and make me cry
I'll be alright
And when you need a place to run to
For better for worse
I got you
Go ahead and say goodbye (go ahead)
I'll be alright (say goodbye)
Go ahead and make me cry
I'll be alright
And when you need a place to run to
For better for worse
I got you

A place to crash
I got you
No need to ask
I got you

soon enough, baby.

A beautiful Sunday.

... that was before I fell sick.
I tell you, it was the worst feeling I've ever felt in my entire life. Not to say I get fever very often. I reckon, probably twice a year? except for occasional flu and cold. That was some feelings I'll never get to adapt. My whole body was aching, head was aching, nausea and feeling cold especially my feet. All together can really torture being barely able to sleep. Almost burst into tears just like in my younger years.

When I first realised I was having fever, I contemplated whether to tell my mom (we share the same bedroom) or not. Well, its silly when I came to the thought about it. I actually tossed and turned on the bed for a couple of hours before deciding to pop the news. Considering the fact that she was fast asleep and I didn't want to disturb her.

She gave me two pills and soon I found myself sleeping as well. I woke up all sweaty (probably the effects of panadols), so sweaty I could rip of all my clothes. No! I did not do that. Surprisingly I was able to force myself back to sleep.

I could recall my last fever, a couple months back. A much better experience than this. At least for a selfless bf to tuck in with me at night despite I'm all sweaty and grumpy. He puts wet towel on my head, he forced me to take extra large pills, and he even drove me around klcc durng late night because he knows those pretty lights are my favourite and could really cheer me up. Too bad the lights wasn't on that night. Hmm. Its the thought that counts ey! I begged to skip math class the next day, but he insisted on driving me to and fro. He suggested to pack my favourite porridge before going home, which I did not quite finish it. Not even close. I felt so much like a princess at that time. In his eyes, at least. I swear I might have said I love to be sick when he's around! Haha, okay that's just plain stupid.

Oh well, I'm all better now! But there's still somehow a one-sided pain in my head. It makes me look all spastic in the face when the pain strike. fml. I sure hope it will be gone tomorrow. I've never drank so much water before in my life. Sigh, for the sake of getting better. I'm sure I have gallons of water debt in my body. Nuff exaggerations, I'm off for some supper.

I am Rose.

They call it : Banana Fritters
I call it : Pisang Goreng.

And so, a spontaneous plan came up that afternoon. X Factor Concert LIVE in LG Arena, Birmingham. How could anyone resist such temptation? Ah, the concert was awesome! To all those concert junkies, do pardon my jakunness. It was my first concert with a stadium full of audiences. The performers are basically the last ten finalists from X Factor 2009. Nope, I didn't know anyone of them but I really enjoyed much! The singing was absolutely jaw-dropping. The stage effects was amazing too. They have all sorts of fireworks, dry ice smokes and sparkles! Their PCs must be superbly good in their job. Not forgetting the emcee and dancers. I followed the crowd to applause, to groove and definitely to do the ''WOOHOOO!''. I cheered so loud, by the end of the concert, I speeches were weak. *coughcough* It was good company nonetheless, to make this outing so much fun. They should really show it in teevee! So everyone gets a chance to see. However, LIVE feels so much different than the ones in teevee. This is one hell of an experience.
Photos coming in shortly, I hope.

Lady Gaga's concert is next in line. Anyone?
No?
Never mind, you can sponsor me. *winks* (=

Nostalgia.

Hey people, how is everyone doing lately? I'm sure everybody were pretty well fed during this festive season. Family reunions must be as awesome as ever. Yeah, I'm having a lot of that. I guess I've missed all the fun with the besties. A part of me really wants to go back, honestly. I'm doing great here, if you were to ask. I appreciate the friends whom I hang out around here. Without them, depression really kicks in. Haha. The weather is really changeable. Been snowing on and off for a couple of days already.

As you can see, I'm blogging for the sake of blogging. I'm so lazy these days. The cold weather has really froze up my brain. On the contrary, I must be out of my mind, to walk outdoor with shorts?! It was not as cold that day. Nonetheless, it was just a short walk at the park. Taking in fresh air, chilling.

I did a lot of thinking recently. I'm pretty guilty for wasting all my days here staying in, online 24/7, very unproductive. As much as I want to achieve something here, my mind doesn't want to cooperate. It taunted me when dad question me '' What have you done today? '' I felt so sorry to say '' oh, nothing. '' Sigh, wanted so badly to be a responsible and mature twenty year old, so that my parents could worry less. Looking at myself now, that goal is an utter failure. Growing up dilemma wtf.  Aih, emo d. I'm blaming this for the massive hair fall.

I miss having classes. Yes, you heard me right. I really do. Probably more things for me to take concern, more things to do to occupy time. Don't need to think about having conversations with parents, and stuffs. Unlike here, I've been in front of the laptop for at least 10hours a day and all the days I did not go out. I think the radiation is killing me man. Bro complained I made a spot (my bum) uneven on his new couch. Because that is my favourite sitting place.

I miss you.
I miss tickling you until you beg to surrender.
I miss you piggyback me when my legs are tired.
I miss your bacon and cheese on toast.
I miss how I always scold you when you dream on the road.
and I miss thinking why would you sing HappyBirthday song to put me to sleep.

Warmer by the day.

This is probably the most productive thing I've ever done during my stay in UK. Yup, I decided to do some baking. To make Chinese New Year feels more like Chinese New Year, festive cookie is a must-have right! Wasting no more time, I googled up some recipes and of course, chose the easiest one. Coincidentally the ingredients were already available at home. So,
Cornflake cookies it is.

1. Bring laptop to kitchen.

'' 200g  Butter
150g Sugar
2 Eggs lightly beaten
300g All purpose flour
60g Cornflakes
1tsp Vanilla essense
30g Cornflour ''

2. Do whatever it says in the recipe.

'' Beat Butter and Sugar until pale and creamy. Add Vanilla essence.
Then, add Eggs. Mix well. Slowly fold in both flours. ''

3. Too much work? Seek help from The Fairy.

'' Better to sieve the flour first to enhance the cookie's crunchiness. ''

4. Don't give up doing repetitive work.

'' Use teaspoon to scoop up a ball of dough, and roll them in the cornflakes. ''

5. Be careful. Try not burning your hands in the preheated oven.

'' Space them out and arrange them nicely. Bake them in the oven in 20minutes at 180degrees Celsius. Watch them out every 5minutes, to make sure they are not too burnt. ''

6. Ta-daa. Delicious cookies served.

'' The cookies were good to go. Chill them down first before enjoy.
Can be able to make up to approximately 105cookies. '

I'm totally keeping up on Resolution #3 because I've been home practically everyday.
As for #2, I'm losing the blogging spirit. My heart flew back to M'sia with my fellow friends and loved one.
Missing them like crazy. Sobs!

....Ushering the arrival of Spring! xoxo <3

February the 14th.

Time spent with you could never be enough,
Cheeky smile and small eyes is all to make my heart melt.
Could never forget the moments of happiness we've been through,
because life hardly exist, if it's were to be without you.

Specially for baby:
I love my boyfriend.
I really do.

ROARRRR.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR !!!

mEan says:

'' Sadly I wont be anywhere near you, my friends. However, I hereby wishing you in advance, and hope you'll have roaring new year ahead, good health, prosperity and plenty of luck if you're going to gamble this new year. Please don't gamble away all the angpao money la. Speaking of angpao, I pray hard I'll get some, at least to compensate all  some that I've spent in this two weeks. Maybe I'll show you my harvest in the next post. It's quite a pain for my purse.

I am celebrating my new year with my closest family in the warmest way ever, steamboat! Loads of preparation to do. I have never been away from home during new year, this would be a good experience indeed, I hope. It's time I show off my baking skills, so before I have to clean the oven, I was thinking of baking some simple cookies as well, any suggestions? I've also came to know that V-Day is also the first day of new year, many people must have been torn apart between girlfriends and family eh? Good for my bf, he has no decision to make at all. He would just probably go out instead of skyping with me just like he promised. It is our first Valentines, and I just have to be out of the country. Sigh. Looking at the bright side, no one needs to crack their heads to get any presents! Though I'd love to have one. Aww baby.... (=
I might just come up with a Valentine's post, if I'm free . fingerscrossed.   ''

This is good stuff.

I've been waiting for the photos for a while. Phew, it came just a couple days ago. All these were taken at the London Zoo. I must say, I wasn't a big fan of animal, but if you ask me if I would go back again, I will actually. Its very fun! Just that not during winter, and no heels please! It was an ultra big mistake to wear heels, it kills. I literally dragged my foot all around. Imagine walking up and downhill for hours! I'm still suffering from the phobia, quitted heels for a week already. London Zoo is huge, nothing like the one we've seen in Kuantan at all. The place is separated into many sections, for example, fishes, bugs, amphibians and etc.

Went there with a few new friends. Nonetheless, not as awkward as expected. They have merry-go-rounds and cafes and souvenir shops. Speaking of souvenirs, I spent more than 40pounds there. On what? Haha, cute stuffs. Oh my favourite part of the zoo just have to be the penguin pool. Perhaps the time we visited was their feeding time so, the crowd is big surrounded the pool. Shorties like me amongst the gigantic angmos, barely noticable! Talk about peeking at the penguins in between the holes and the cracks. Torturous much. Oh and the giraffes! Tall like hell, and smelly too. I uploaded like 65photos, never tried so many before. I'm feeling a bit spinning right now. And I didn't bother to edit because most of them are from SLR.

Under The Sea, in the aquarium.
I was there to see the underwater creatures, I forgot to see what are they, not even one.
So I'll call this, starfish.

Except for this one. I felt so dumb there, there's so many kinds of everything! I bet you don't know this exists. Haha. This trip really opened up my eyes.

Seahorse.

Anchovies, HAHA. Kidding.

Corals.

More corals.

Somemore corals.

Spot Nemo.

Spongebob? Yes, I think he's one hell of a underwater animal too.
Sorry for the sucky photos from a 4mp camera. I didn't quite like taking photos, because it makes me look like a jakun tourist, I mentioned before. But everyone there was taking tons of them. By the way, entry fee is like 17pounds. Must make worth of the money paid right!

On The Ground, behind glass wall.
Giraffe.

Monitor lizard.

Tortoise, I think.

Snake in romance.

Tiny froggie.

Ostrich, if I'm not mistaken.

Gorilla acting cute.

Tiger.

LAMA!'s backside.

Furry wild boar.

Grasshoppers.

Seriously, cockroaches? Its because none of it appears in households( in Msia) or on the street (ss15!!) in UK. Yea, get to see them only in Zoo. I saw a couple of angmos got really fascinated buy cockroaches. fml.
I was having goose bumps taking this photo. This is the best quality out of the many. I was shaking taking it. I hate them, more than I hate to be poor.
The rest like, mosquitoes and ants. Exclusively only found in zoo. I forgot it there's fly or not. Well, I bet they have it some where...

Some People, at last!

This is the best hot chocolate in the whole wide world. REALLY! Only 2.50pp. The whipped cream is IMBA. I can't stop thinking of it until now. IT IS THAT YUMMY.

Out Of The Zoo.
Camden Town. Streets of food and shops. More than 20 countries' delicacies. I picked Mexican.
One of the shop owner is a Malaysian too. So we chatted up a little, and he free-d us a coke. Cold coke during winter? No thankyou. We took it anyway.

Bought some tortila-ish, wrapped chicken stuffing... I don't know what is it called.

This is probably the last time I'll dine open air during winter. No matter how hot and steamy the food might be, I'm still shivering! Brrr. After makan, I went to buy another pair of boots. Flat boots for 20pounds. I really cannot tahan already. I walked out from the subway at 11am until probably 4 or 5pm in my heels. I can feel the blisters in between my toes. Omg, painful can! It was not enjoyable at all.
Its so good to feel the ground again! I became happy again. So we walked some more to London's Chinatown, passed by red light district. Super awesome, seeing nude posters all around. HAHA. Seen the famous cinemas, Empire Cinema at Leicester Square and Odeon. I have not receive those photos yet. Maybe soon.

I picked some photos from fb too. If I upload everything, I'll die. But I guess it's more than enough right? Do leave some comments anywhere to say '' Oh, cool! I'd want to visit there some day ''. That would be really encouraging lor. Tiring work leh. Otherwise, fail la my promoting skills. Tell me if I need to improve as well.
Aaah, that's all for today.

Hit Me.
