Iron Man+Ip Man= Ipon Man

Yes, I've finally watched Iron Man2. Good thing lubbie bought the tickets online even a few days before.
I'm one of the first few who gets to watch them on release date!
It was just okay. Sadly it wasn't a Wow sort of movie. Nonetheless it was great entertainment. There are many many funny scenes. So funny that people in the cinema could applause while watching. What in the world right. Well, I didn't get most of the cynical jokes.

Tony Stark with his obso-awesome-lutely computed basement. I hope this technology will be available in the years to come. How good is it to have a obedient and smart maid at home? Sounds impossible right? I know. I'm afraid we have to wait for sometime for somebody to invent them.

The War Machine/Lt. Col. Jame 'Rhodey' Rhodes. Woo, lubbie's favourite.
It looks really good, but his appearance in the movie is way too short.
His hero moments is like what, 5minutes? (the last part when Tony ask him to be his sidekick)
And they took down the bad guy too fast laa. I don't like the ending.

I don't like the Pepper Potts here. She's just a paranoid lady who keeps scolding Tony. Huhmph >.
I love Nat/Agent Romanoff lor!! She is the silent killer man. Effing hot. Lubbie likes her when she's wearing the latex tight suit. =.=

Ivan Vanko the villain. He is damn strong. The car banged him full force in the circuit yet he's still alive. If ordinary people means all the intestines all come out from the mouth d. Yeearks.

My favourite scene! She is so good I tell you. I kept telling lubbie who was sitting beside me, ''I wish I could do that, Hmm, I think I can. '' Haha.

I couldn'tlazy find the Iron Man picture with a new shape for the heart. Triangle one. I'm amazed by how Tony figured out his father's legacy. If me means I wont discover it for another hundred years. Ok, maybe the reason is too obvious. Why would I even want to start comparing myself to a genius like him. =.=

Oh well, I can't wait for IpMan2 later. Don't you feel very motivated and inspired to just stand for justice and kill all the villains out there?? I know I do.

I totally can imagine if the man in the poster is lubbie. Because his favourite pass time thing to do is ask me to act as the wood thinggy, then he can have his 'Ip-Man' moment.

I'll be away for couple of days to Perhentian Island! I'm really looking forward to it. Gosh, I've yet to pack!
As for you guys, do stay tune...

WHAT ABOUT?
Groovy, fun and ever-so-hip, the striking new Spring 2010 collection from sloggi that's inspired by passion for a cleaner planet is an eclectic assortment of colourful patterns, fashionable designs and ecologically-friendly fabrics, that offer great comfort and a superb fit for all-day, everyday wear.

DID YOU KNOW?
All products were made of 90% Polyester (yarn material is produced from 100% recycled plastic bottles)
and 10% Elastane. So environmental of them right?!

HERE IS WHY.
The world's advancement has slowly but surely increasing pollutions. Think of the ever growing dump site, it will soon consume more and more land. Where are we and our future generations going to stay? Think of the plastic products that we're using. It is not biodegradable hence, it will stay on earth for decades. Think of the excessive paper we're using without recycling them. Trees and cut down in massive measure. No more shades for picnic any more. If you are unwilling to stay in dump site, and sleep on plastic sheets with no shield whatsoever from the sun, RECYCLE is the IT solution.

Wearing Sloggi's Recycled undergarment is the least you can do. =p

Mom's Birthday.

We celebrated mom's **th (it will be very rude of me if I reveal the numbers) birthday on the 21st of April. No fancy steak dinner, nor any high heel occasion. So we brought her to Shabu Shabu in Bandar Puteri, Puchong, which is only walking distant from sis's pharmacy.  Sadly we couldn't get a table for ourselves, because it requires 5pax and above. So we had to sit in assigned seats like, in a row and were bending back and forth if we want to talkshout to one another. Nonetheless, we enjoyed slowly cooking our food to perfection with our own recipes. At least mom did, that's what matters.

I didn't take much pictures because born a glutton like me who can resists all the food on the conveyor! I only remembered when I was almost done, to be honest.
Did you realised, whenever your eyes target on something, you get panick and quickly got up your seat and snatch the container that contains the food in such desperate manner, as if some one else is going to take it away from you. I saw it in my sister's eyes. Like some barbarian hasn't eaten for decades. I'm implying the reaction, and absolutely not the she=barbarian part. Something else which I also need to state: That was her first time.

My diet regime ain't going to work out because the whole time, my pot was full and so was my bowl! Hello, its a buffet. Every dieters get to take a break from refraining food when you're in a buffet. Why? Because I SAID SO. happy? Make worth of the money you paid what. Otherwise wasted la.

Mom. sister and the hubby. Rule number one: Never take fishballs (even when you are a fishball lover like me!). They are so effing cheap, eating them will only waste your tummy space to eat more expensive food like prawns and whatnot. Make sense?
I admit, I lost control. It was already 9pm and I was starving mad. I whacked everything that passes me. Yes, including the french fries.

Funny enough, we didn't blow the candles after the buffet, because we were awfully stuffed. We did it the day after. Mom requested that we skip the birthday song and just eat the cake. How can, once a year only. Sis insisted to sing then.

I know what you're thinking. It's cheapskately creative, no? There's four of us, and we bought four different slices of cake. I will never again opt of a whole coffee cake. Not only that we wouldn't finish, we also have to eat it for breakfast the next day, probably lunch, tea, and dinner. =.=

I was torn apart.

what should I do.

I need somebody who understands.

How much of an idiot am I, thinking that I can survive two days without the internet.
Tested and proven, I can't. I reached out for dad's netbook in a very eager manner at the first hour I'm awake.
My journey started at 6.30am. I slept through the whole journey and even dreamt! That's something I have not try before.
I have no idea what time I arrived but I remember sleep walking into the wrong room and just crashed. (and I'm still in my shades!) Then, I woke up at 12pm, my usual time to be awake.

Out of pure sincerity of preserving a blissful weekend spent with family members,
dad busy watching tele. We have so limited covnersations to talk about, mainly because
the way he replies is very put off.
Sis and Doug is taking a nap. A very long nap.
Mom is on cleaning mode. As much as she want to put the whole house into the washing machine,
grr, you catch my drift.

Reality's a bitch....and I'm bored. Sweating in the living room even with two aircons.

immeasurable treasure.

I don't want to be left out! So I simply collaged it in a different version.
(so kiasu right, I know.)

Skip the introductions, there's only one fact that you should remember.

THEY ARE MY BFFs!

They are probably few of the people I've be friended longest with in my entire life.
Range of years varies because some are from primary schoool, and some are from secondary school.
But nonetheless we all got close together about 7years back. Yup, we're at our seventh year of friendship,
nonetheless we are still growing and blossoming together into our adulthood.

Each of them is beautiful is their own way.

There are times when I'm with them that their loveliness takes my breath away.

(in no particular order)
I totally adore Jo. She lives the most busy life. She literally gave her life to music, yet she never fail to give support and love to us who are in need. I think of a text that have come at just the right moment when I'm in my deepest blues, saying '' Don't worry, you'll still have us. ''

I totally adore Lice. She is very much like Jo. Though I'm still clueless how she would say something stupid and smart in the same sentence, but she is forever happy. I'm very glad that she was, (and hope that she still is) all the time bringing laughters to the group. No gathering is a gathering, until Alice joins in.

I totally adore Dar. Fashion has consumed her. Other than needing to repeat ourselves n times because her terrible reception, she is perfectly normal. But the courage that she portrayed over the turbulences, is way bigger than what that small body of her's can contain. Her stories inspired me in many ways, no one could do what she did, she's definitely one of a kind.

Lastly, I totally adore Nic. The one and only out of the country. (I'm hoping you'll come back tho, for good!) She is one friend that I could always count on. She'd drop everything just for me. You see, true friends find joy in giving until it hurts. She's one of them. We had the most misunderstandings in the past and yet we are still so close.

I wish I could write more, there's so much of good values in them that's too good to keep to myself. I personally needs constant reminders of how good they have been to me because the last thing I want to do is to take them for granted.

I wont exchange our friendships for anything else in the world, girls. (=

Well, coincides with this post, I picked up a new hobby, which is reading. Yes, reading.
How did this happened?!
It was out of the blue so I picked up a book from the book rack and started reading.
It's sort of a girl book, talking about how to cultivate a beautiful friendships, and also relate to how and what God sees in friendships. I'm currently in Chapter2 and I must say, I was inspired by every line written. So it's like a continuous of gasps, and wows ...

A Garden of Friends. By Penny Pierce Rose.

A very beautiful book. You read along as if you are dancing Smooth Waltz in Tiffany blue frilly dress with thy Prince Charming, if I may add. Picture it in your head like Disney princesses fairytales' happy ending. Language is simple and meaningful, which I can totally relate to. And for the first time, I find reading enjoyable.

Think, when will I get there?

Sigh, I missed the Deodorant Street Fair by Nuffnang last Saturday.
And I think I got a fairly good reason for my absence.
Truth be told, I joined because of that 50bucks cash and also for the fun of it.
Never once I thought I'll be picked! I happen to have a wedding to attend that very same morning.

Like you said, it's just 50bucks but wedding only comes once in a lifetime!
Well I still think I made the right choice. The wedding was superb, both ceremony and banquet dinner.
I'm sure the Street Fair was equally as fun. >.<

What more can I say, I sucked at weddings. I just have to cry! Why! Funny thing is, I was never seen as a emotional person before. Wedding slide shows are literally the killer. Although deep down I know they are just posing for the camera, but the effects are as if it candidly captured 'The (pronounced as ) Very Moment'. It made my heart melt over and over again. God knows what's that aura, oh wait, I think it's called - true love.

How am I ever going to go through my own wedding with a decent manner? Let me tell you what's indecent.

''  During procession, I'll be too touched by my own gown, because I only get to wear them once in my life.
Probably start to cry when the wedding march song is played.

Sobbing until I choked on my speeches, especially my vows to my husband-to-be.
My make ups are all smudged at the ''you-may-kiss-the-bride-moment'', and worst, throughout the recession.
....and the cameraman will be taking very ugly picture's of me the whole time!  ''

You all must be thinking, you still got a long way to go! Aren't you thinking a bit too much?!
Ha, you are right. But girls are born to plan/think ahead, agree?

Me in the morning. Without make up. Must be some stupid camwhore spirit who takes picture Before making up. =.=

Hearts the flower deco on the seats. Those are real white roses!

Animated version of the newly weds. So cute can!

This is the best I can zoom.

Exchanging rings, I think.

Lighting the unity candle.

Highlight.

She sang awesome '' You Made Me Feel Brand New''.

Banquet dinner at Kota D'sara Golf Resort.
Paper Thankyou butterflies, all handcut! Imagine 50tables...

I think I bought a lot of flowery dresses of various cuttings.

Please don't mistaken me as a flower girl.
As much as I love subtle flowers, I'm into edgy now.
Go military!

Missing bird.

I know I should always look front when I'm behind the wheels.
But this caught my attention under the pouring rain.
Fret not, I triple checked for cars on the left and right before I snapped this picture.

Adorable not?!
Tho I'm not a big fan of Tweety, but poor fellow stranded in the middle of the road in ss14.
However, I have not have such a big heart to adopt it back.

So, has anyone lost a bird?

Canon Hill Park.

... well, it's more of my family's happy portraits. Most of them are taken at Canon Hill Park. It's  an awfully huge park for the public. We went there two years back, and we came back again. The park is just 5mins drive from home. I hardly have any sleep the night before but I woke up early for breakfast and there we went.
I was contemplating before whether would I miss UK when I'm back, because when I was away I was having terrible home-sick! Truth be told, I miss the so many-many in UK, the weather, the food and even the trainsportation! (train+transportation) Nonetheless, nothing beats these two treasures.

Abby and Samuel.
It'd be very stingy of me if I were to show you only one picture of them, so I collaged it! They are sooo adooorable aren't theyyy.

Before going out to the park. Snapped a quick one while everyone is getting Sammy ready.
pretty. young. thing.

The children's area. I personally think I'm officially too old for it. Considering there's quite a crowd of parents and kids, I have to resist the fun and behave, even though I wanted to join in, quite badly.

She's probably the only Asian kid there, who doesn't act like one. They are totally the opposite of timid and shy. I'm afraid if I joined in, I'll cuddle them like mad. They could easily lure me with their cuteness. Gee, I sounded like a paedophile.

Like father like son. No better proverbs to caption this.

If you can notice the ripples throughout the lake/river, it was pretty windy that day. I was literally tearing. So cold and I still insist leaving my coat in the car. Big mistake.

MomAndrea joined in the fun. I don't remember being so close with my parents when I was that young. Why, actually I don't remember anything about my childhood! fml.

This boy is so going to be handsome when he grows up. She called him ''best friend of the day''.

Kong kong and Po po.

Girl Power!

We are the majority. Ngek ngek.

Tan's Family.

I promised her an Ice Cream if she takes a photo with me. Nop, in the end I didn't get it for her. I'm so mean I know! Some more I almost tripped her when we're playing catchy-catchy, ACCIDENTALLY.

Aw, I love this picture! Everyone looked so happy!

I miss my niece and nephew so much.

Every day comes only once in a life time, in fact, every second.
Why wasting them holding on to pointless grudges?
I choose to love, to care and to be nice.
I hope you would too.
