Perhentian Day 1

Perhentian Island trip was a bomb! No one would disagree with that for sure. It was considered as my first time to an island with friends. I wasn't keen at first due to multiple girl's fears as to getting tan, or run-down resorts and etc. Trust me on this, I missed everything there ever since I'm back! That kind of feeling is beyond  comprehension. So close to the beautiful nature that you practically could forget what day is today or where the hell is Kuala Lumpur! No elements of exaggeration added, the beach is to melt every man's heart.

Lucky are we to have a good and experienced 'tour guide', Junad (Hadi's sis). She planned everything so well just that we could enjoy ourselves to the max. She is just priceless. =D

Every 'team' arrived and gathered at Mc Donalds to have dinner before going on to the bus. Some were early and some were late. I remembered asking  bf quite a stupid question saying, is there any Atms on the island? Apparently not.

Indecisive baby couldn't make up his mind on what to eat. As always. No wait, that's me. I couldn't choose between burger or nuggets. I'd always have that dilemma. Then I found out either one was equally as full. Ha.

A very decent photo of us taken by Jes.

After quite a torture from heat at the bus station we finally get some air con in the bus. Everyone was drenched in sweat and whined the whole time. The bus ride was mad scary. I could hardly get any sleep because I was afraid that bus might over turn any minute. Haha.

Eight hours of mental torture we arrived at Kuala Besut. It was 5.30am in the morning that we have our breakfast. We were probably their first customer of the day.

Boat ride only opens at 9am. We chilled and hang around at the sea side. The pro-camers having a good time taking shots of sun rise, and of us.

Bobby took a portrait for me. How smart of him that he could tell I was actually posing, and not candid.

We were having fun even though we have nothing to do.

That's what I call, self-entertaining. Reliving his childhood, perhaps?

The sun was getting warmer and warmer. Time for shades!

I know! I like it too!

Finally, our boat came. Everybody was super excited, all exchanging stories. We laughed like nobody's business even though we have two foreign friends joined us.

He's enjoying the breeze, I think.

Holding on tight!

I managed to snap a few before the boat turns into a aggressive piece of... monster.
That's Arief btw!

Mou. Vinod and SuAnn.

Going to be three days without make ups. Good or bad, you choose.

The ride was damn hardcore. Literally invisible bumps on the sea. Better than roller coasters any time.

Jesweena!

Totally unedited. I have no idea how did it came out like this. Probably when the boat 'jumped'.

And this one too! Was wanting to camwhore. Bad bad choice.

It was riding like 200km/hr. Mad fast! Absolutely eligible for a speeding ticket. Although it hurts so bad, but we sort of didn't want the boat to stop. The sceneries were amazing, especially the deep blue sea.

Me and lubbie.

Behind me that's the place we're going to have fun!

boat taxi.

Something to die for, no?

Think again.
Fell in love with the island almost instantly. How could one not.

This is the chalet we stayed for two night. It was good enough for us and we get to enjoy the best view of the beach ever. Their slogan written was ''A home, away from home.''

The food there was very pricey. I still cant believe I ordered an omelette for 6ringgit. I have to order another set of breakfast because it wasn't filling at all. =.=

Resting at the balcony after a long ride. Surprisingly windy even without the fan. While waiting for empty rooms to be clean we had some snacks left over from the bus ride.

Lubbie gets his long awaited bath after like forever. So did I. We end up wearing matching yellow, coincidentally! We were ready to jump into the sea, once the sun sets!

During the evening.

Went back for a shower after playing in the sea. Then head out again to the shore for dinner.

Group picture without Mindy.

There she is. (= We happened to wear similar colour outfit that night. Haha. Hardly recognisable.

Almost like a honeymoon. In a way, more fun.

The sand was ultra fine. It feels cold and chilly during night. So comfy to walk on.

I hearts this picture.

Candle lit dinner at the shore. Foods there were must better than the ones in the city! Despite being a bit pricey. So yummy worth every penny. Gosh, it actually rhymes. Lol.

My favourite chicken chop. Size large for only 15bucks! You'll be so full, you'll puke.

They have fire throwing dancing occasionally. He/she was there for the first night but wasn't on the second.

No vacation is perfect without boozes! The first night was Arief's birthday as well. We toasted to everything and sang him a birthday song.

Some one K.O-ed. Guess who. =p

This is one huge lizard that keeps on visiting our room and make funny noises. Being a non-reptile lover, it can be very disturbing. Some more the chalet for holes one. EEeee.

You might miss this out.
It was our 7th month anniversary on the 1st of May.
On-going and still very much in love.
Being able to be together for three days on a vacation,
it was perfect.
