That's my baby.
Last night when me and Renesha were in the car going back home, we talked about BGR stuffs. Things like how people fell out of love after a long relationship yada yada yada. So I thought me and the bf are experiencing early symptoms of it. So I whatsapped him when I went home. You know how guys are best at promising everything under the sun and all, saying that he's going to put in more effort blablabla...
So this is what he came up with the day after, which is today...

My awesome 20th birthday.
Roughly a month ago I turned 20! Like, officially. Not to say it's a massive deal because I've been telling people I'm 20 all year through anyway. It's still my birthday nontheless, and it only comes once a year. =P
To give some background, I intended to celebrate for sure, but procrastinated the whole 'planning thingy' until a week before. Baby and I brainstormed various venues for nice dinner. We even be there to make queries and check out their menus. You cant imagine how panicked we were. The final venue was decided only a night before. We almost went to bed actually, then it prompted us to go check out WIP. We did not take it seriously because we were afraid it's gonna blow our budget. Guess what, we liked it at first sight. So much for being impulsive than prepared.
I lost count of how many times I sat there. I *somesoundeffect* like a lady, see I crossed my legs even!

Christmas Cheer
Exactly one more month till Christmas!
I'm wont be sorry going all over about Christmas due the fact that people who don't celebrate might somehow be irritated. But!
There's so much more about Christmas than just presents and decorated coniferous trees. We have all heard it's the season of giving and care for people who needs to be taken care of. Well, that is exactly what it is! In another word, be generous! However, we never fail to fall back to the same old Christmas routines every year. Something for a change in 2010, perhaps?
I have a strict list of people whom I care about. I may not be with them all throughout the year but at this time of the season, I'll go out of my comfort zone and get them what they want. Unlike Birthdays, we tend to give expensive gifts to make us look good but during Christmas, get something they may not mention but have wanted it long time. This tests one observation skill. =p
In collaboration with the true meaning of Christmas, Acts Church has launched a Christmas Cheer Project. Very much self-explanatory. Our aim is to spread the cheer to our less-fortunate community around us by using the most simple and practical way-- food. They might see it as a gift, but the bigger gift is to share God's love.
During the launch, almost 600 turned up with various food items. Essentials would be cooking oil, rice, sugar, salt, biscuits, canned food etc (food with long expiry). The total amount of food collected almost like a mini Tesco! We see them everyday but has it crossed your mind that somebody out there is actually struggling to get those things to make him/herself a meal? It is overwhelming and touched to see how one person with at least one food item could have such big impact on able to feed an entire village! Don't you think it's amazing?
This is what I call celebrating Christmas with a good cause. At this point of life, it's too selfish just by buying presents satisfying ourselves and yea, ourself. Do something different for a change this Christmas, start spreading the cheer outside of your house's of four walls. Allow me for this metaphor: A branded bag might make someone happy, but not for long, but 10kilos of rice will definitely make the whole family happy and grateful for the entire year. They might never know who we are, but our giving hopes for no return, it was just plain blessing. Just like how are we blessed by God everyday and most of us didn't even realized, or even thank Him. Isn't tiring and troubled to think that whenever we give, we keep an account for a return. Sooner or later no one will give anymore.
When no one gives, no one gets. When everyone gives, everyone gets! -Pr. Kenneth.
I'm not of very influential kind of person. During service on the recent Sunday, I'm struck by her story on how she merely mentioned about this to her colleagues and the next day her car is filled with goodies for the Project! I'm gonna just going to do my best and believe that God will settle the rest. If I've wronged you, let this pass our offences, because this is not about me. So I challenge you today, whoever that reads this. Do you want to make a change to the norm? Making an impact is not hard at all, but going against the world's current is. This project will go on until Christmas, feel free to leave a comment. Everyone can be a part of this Project, you want in? I'm willing help channel the things you want to donate, IF you are willing to extend your grocery list.
Cheers for those whom's heart enlightened,
M.

How's life treating everyone?
Been away for quite some time but actually I've not been busy.
I'm lazy la whatelse.
Blogging from my iPhone eventhough pc is just two steps away.

I got so much to update but everything is so outdated I'm so shameful to mention ftw.
Mostly are complaint and rants which I think we are all very fed up of.
And for That, Twitter has definitely spoilt the Market for blogging.
Hee
Anyways, Christmas is coming! Aren't you excited??
Have anyone start on their Christmas list yet??
I'm about to ...
Well, ttyl for now. Fill you more soon!

If I could turn back time..
I'm suppose to be studying because I'm having test tomorrow! The word ''test'' sounds like a small word compared to ''exam'' isn't? True enough but not for me as I haven't heard these words for ages!
I finished reading my notes, but unfortunately I don't understand any bit. )= Reference books ran out as soon as a week before the test, being the last-minute person, I had to borrow similar book from Monash U. How more pathetic can SEGi be? Talked about study/resourcing skills, their library is a failure.
I've yet to start the book, which I think it will be very soon. I have approximately 12hours more, in which excluding my precious beauty sleep. >.< Sigh. To add on, mom jinxed me on falling sick last weekend because I had home-cook dinner and she just have to cook Curry Chicken when I'm having ulcer. Now? I'm down with flu (don't know why) and sore throat. DOUBLE sigh!
On the verge of giving up. Then again, it's never the right thing to do.

Some call it science, but we call it Chemistry.
We had appetizers of wild mushroom soup and bread (I think it's a complimentary).
And cream pasta as his main course. It was delicious! Definitely on par with Deli'cious.
