Happy Father's Day.

Today, we'll talk about Father's Day. It's tomorrow 20/6/2010, by the way. Have you ever felt that Father's Day is less significant than Mother's Day? Actually I do, I often wonder why. One very obvious difference you can see is from the tele advertisements. I think a month before Mother's Day they already screening ads about mommie-love-relating shows and whatnot. Whereas now, I only found out Father's Day is tomorrow through some one's conversation. I have seen only one advertisement for dad on 8tv, where they promoted two shows for the weekend. How pathetic, and quite bias don't you think?

Well, I don't see any sales or promotions going on in the mall neither whereby promoting people to get gifts for fathers. Or I should say, rare, very rare. But I thought dad are the breadwinner in the family and is the Man. Most of the time, more capable and most look-up upon. Why society showed less attention to fathers nowadays? Just because they didn't bare babies in the first place doesn't mean they are no greater than a mom? I know my dad stands the most important role in my family. No one objects him. (if you know what I mean) Not even mom. =p

I think both of mom and dad are equally important in my life. Without either of them, I wont be where I am today. In conjuction to Father's Day, though I'm not at a time where I can afford good present for him, but at the very least I can always afford some good values of words as appreciation. Father and daughter always grew apart as time steps in. We are no exception. I've always seen him as a big man and he's very unapproachable. When I was at my rebellious age, things became worse. We had arguements, coldwars all the time. All these things are very inevitable. Those grudges soon turned in to scars. I remember I was very mad at him. As I grow, I matured in my thinking. I wanted a change on our relationship. But as a Chinese, we are very thin skin in terms of expressive themselves. We happened to fall into the norm also. Hence, we have not much of conversations. However, it's more than enough for me to just spend a time of dinner or just having some small talks.

All in all, I'm still very grateful to my daddy for all these years of patience and love. Despite being the troublemaker and demanding princess my whole life, yet his love never lessen. As I grow, he slowly become older, I wish I could do more to show him how much I care. I'm trying my best, and I hope you are too.

So Daddy, Happy Father's Day.

Too busy being sick

I had medical leave from work since Friday. It wasn't entirely on medical reason but somehow something went wrong and I got terribly sick. One whole combo of fever, flu, cough and whatnot came to visit. I shouldn't take Mindy's word for joke in the first place. I laughed when she said 'eat Vitamin C if you don't wanna get sick!'. I had bad flu on Friday, then the main couse - fever came on Saturday. I was so drained yesterday I slept during service in church. Finally I cant take it anymore and I went to see the doctor. Why does most of the clinic don't open on Sunday?! Sigh. Lucky boo was there to accompany me to find. He said I ruined his weekend. ))= Today is Monday and I'm absent from work too. Another day to rest before going back to work tomorrow.

this iz proof. =p

btw, bro and family is back from the UK! There's like ten people in the house. Very merry but very pack as well. Ha. The babies are adorable!

not exactly twins.

Gay romance

This is good stuff.

play my smilebox

What am I doing here on a blissful Saturday afternoon?!
I should be somewhere out there, just anywhere!
I totally forgot when was the last time I actually stayed home on a Saturday.
Although every working days I cursed my way to the weekends,
but it still feels funny if I just stay at home lor.
I'm so mentally drained from work.

Another reason that practically killed mood for the weekend is... Fatigue+Flu+Ulcer. Triple kill right. Yesterday after work, baby came to pick me up. It wasn't ordinary Friday where by the happiness of weekend supposed to kick in. I was Dead tired. I wanted to take nap at Boo's place before going for Homes. But I got flu which made me lagi sleepy. I cruelly offed the alarm and slept. Boo woke me up for dinner at Ikea when I was still half asleep.

Why did the stupid ulcer have to come when I most crave for fried and heaty food?! It's all my fault where I have bad tongue-teeth-coordination, hence I bit my tongue. I literally teared on the spot! It bleed a little and became an ulcer the following day.

I want to eat Cheese Wedges + Extra Cheese, I want to eat Rojak, I want to eat Fatty Crab, I want to eat Loklok fried sotong!

As she Moos.

Who says miracle don't happen?! I totally disagree with that. Because miracles do happen, but not very often. A very good example would be Jane Fong. She's someone I would describe as ''more busy than the Prime Minister''. I've calculated the possibility and whatnot. The chances of meeting each other compared to the number of times I've asked, is only 1/10. Haaa. We have been really close two years  back, but no longer in contact when she went to uni. Mainly because she worships her studies. ))=
That heartless cow finally came to her senses, reminiscing my importance and dated me out for lunch.

at Delicioso~.

Baby's carbonara. A safe choice to order because it will never go wrong ordering a pasta.

As for Jane, she don't even know what she ordered. =.=''

Our latest photo together! Jane grew so much already Nicole! She hasn't been screaming anymore. I guess she finally outgrew her teenage mental. =p Its a very bad choice wearing a boyfriend denim shirt because the Saturday afternoon sun was mad hot. Knowing that the real boyfriend would actually opt to be seated outside, due to the inside seats were very occupied and in a way, quite stuffy.

His current wallpaper!
Happy 8th Month Anniversary hunny.
You have always been there for me, no matter when I need you or not.
Thank you for being so patient with me all these while.
Although sometimes I very guailan, but you know I'm still crazy in love with you!

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

Some called us movie fanatic, some said we're just too free.
So what if we catch a new movie every Sunday?
We enjoyed it very much. Yes, we are movie buffs.

Prince of Persia is mad awesome! Like madmadmadmadmad awesome!
Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince Dustan) is 'Danson' (Damn Hansome) lor.
Danson is actually a name of our friend. Somebody actually came up with that phrase, and we teased him non stop. lmao.
Anyways! Don't you think he looks abit like Mr Schuester?

I love Gemma Arterton (Princess Tamina). She's so pretty some more so smart! They both of them is like the perfect combo right? One so smart another one so brave. *sighinenviness*  =p

What's the story about? People killing each other for one powerful dagger that can turn back time. Well, speaking of which, that's something every one of us would really want right? Imagine going back to the past, to amend things that we were regretting on and blablabla.

What I love about this movie except of the casts, is the actions and graphics. The movie literally suck you into the storyline. I must say the director is so cheesy that at every life and death moments, they surely must kiss one! And then hor, all the killer swords and deadly weapons will surely missed the actor by a strand of hair one. That close! Very exaggerative, but I totally buy it! I practically moved around the chair in excitement lor. The graphic is the ultimatum. The sceneries are astounding. I cant help but to wow again and again.
I would give a rating of 7/10. Fo suh I'm going to watch it the second time. It's already THAT good in 2D, I can't imagine how great is 3D going to be.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Still of Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

That's the dagger you're looking for.
Fret not, it's a happy ending kind of movie. Just like the ones I like. Heee.
Oops, have I said too much?
Trust me, I don't think my level of language is good enough to convey every bit of intriguing moments in that movie. Ahhh, I want to watch it again!
Shall we, hun ?
